The federal government requires that individuals seeking employment or food stamps must be able to authenticate their identity and citizenship. In spite of this, there are those who insist that voter I.D. laws are unfair.

The U.S. attorney general has been fighting voter I.D. laws claiming that they are discriminatory, unnecessary and making it harder for minorities to vote. This simply isn’t true. In fact, Hans noted that in Georgia, African-American and Hispanic voter turnout has actually increased in federal elections held since the implementation of voter I.D. requirements.

Hans also presented details of his undercover experiences at civil rights organizations and the Justice Department, proving that although some people may be against voter I.D, that doesn’t stop them from requiring identification if you want to talk to them.
