This Crosstalk began with news that today, Equality Florida and 6, same-sex couples have filed a lawsuit against the Miami-Dade Clerk of Courts. The case deals with the Florida Marriage Protection Amendment. This amendment was passed by over 62% of the voters and added to the State Constitution in 2008.

Steven Lee is the Founder and Owner of SermonAudio.com, which, since 2000, has provided the largest library of audio sermons from conservative churches and ministries worldwide. They are also involved not only in providing an audio library, but also that of getting the printed Word of God out on a mass basis city by city. At this time there are nearly 750,000 sermon messages on the site with the site growing at a rate of about two to three thousand new sermons per week. About 2,000 ministries are represented, most of which are small churches.

Steven admits that SermonAudio.com isn’t catering to the ‘sermonettes for Christianettes’ crowd but rather is the site for material from theologically conservative ministries and churches.

Because they are always looking for ways to reach people whether it’s by business cards or mobile devices, Steven started the Gospel of John Project, a way to proactively reach out to others using this important New Testament book that is a great way to introduce the Bible to unbelievers. This project has resulted in thousands of copies of the Gospel of John going to cities such as New York, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Phoenix, Houston, Orlando, Seattle, Chicago, Denver, Kansas City, Charleston, Washington, D.C. and more.

Steven then went on to tell of an elderly man who wanted to use his wealth in some godly way. Due to a connection he had with SermonAudio.com, it was decided to send copies of SermonAudio’s Gospel of John booklet to all 435,000 plus homes in the man’s hometown of Austin, Texas, the 11th largest city in the U.S.
