Dr. Elizabeth Vliet is a medical doctor with practices in Tucson and Dallas. She is President of International Health Strategies whose mission is twofold: liberty and privacy in treatment options and preservation of the Oath of Hippocrates focus on the individual patient. She is a past board member of AAPS (Association of American Physicians and Surgeons). She spoke on this edition of Crosstalk as an independent physician.

According to Dr. Vliet, putting the government in charge of your medical services is a violation of our core freedoms. So those who value their medical freedom, their right to decide their own health care, their right to abstain from using contraceptives; these choices based upon religious beliefs, personal health goals, family needs and budget, are being taken out of our hands by the federal government via Obamacare.

She believes Obamacare is about government bureaucrats deciding whether your life is important or not based upon the collective good. It’s the antithesis of our core, Judeo-Christian principles on which our nation was founded. It’s one of the reasons why medical freedom is so closely tied to religious liberty.

Her top 10 reasons for not enrolling in Obamacare include the following. It will:

1–…cost significantly more.
2–…limit your choice of doctors.
3–…limit your choice of hospitals.
4–…have greater out-of-pocket costs.
5–…cause you to lose your medical privacy.
6–…cause your personal and financial information to possibly be compromised.
7–…cause you to be susceptible to identity theft.
8–…lead to intrusions on your Second Amendment rights.
9–…once enrolled it’s difficult or impossible to get off if you find a better
plan.
10–…include financial incentives for your doctor to restrict your medical
treatment.

Dr. Vliet then goes on to note that there are 14 reasons why you can file an exemption and not pay a penalty. You can go to the website listed below to obtain that information.
