David Rubin is the former mayor of Shiloh, Israel, in the region of Samaria known to most of the world as the West Bank. He is the founder and president of Shiloh Israel Children’s Fund. He is the author of four books including, ‘The Islamic Tsunami’ and his latest, ‘Sparks from Zion.’

David began by reporting on a terrorist attack last evening on the East side of Shiloh. The attack was initiated by Hamas terrorists who ambushed a car of four young adults coming back from a basketball game.

Conversation then moved to the P5 + 1 negotiations with Iran. The deadline was set for today but has been extended to July 7th. In the end, David communicated that the eventual agreement will allow Iran to eventually develop nuclear weapons. He pointed out, however, that Israel is not a party to the negotiations and is free to act as it feels it has to.

Jim reported that Hamas has built a fortified tunnel that reaches into Israeli territory to be used in the next round of violence. David noted that many previous tunnels have been destroyed but many others were not. Since the last war in Gaza, the tunnels are being rebuilt. In fact, many families that live along the border region near Gaza have been reporting that they hear digging underneath their homes.

Much more was discussed relating to Israel including:

–The discovery of an ongoing wave of cyber attacks that are originating from Iran
and targeting Israel.
–The U.S. Supreme Court decision forbidding the listing of Israel as the birth
place for Jerusalem born Americans.
–ISIS has appeared in Jerusalem posting flyers that threaten revenge against
Jerusalem’s Christians.
–The U.N. Human Rights Council contends that both Israel and Palestinian
terrorists may have committed war crimes during the Gaza war in 2014.
–The BDS movement and its economic impact on Israel.
–The significant increase in anti-Semitic incidents happening all over the world.
