The transgender agenda is in full swing across the nation as it hits our schools, the military, professional sports, the workplace, Girl Scouts, prisons, the medical profession and even churches.

Joining Jim to discuss this issue was Peter LaBarbera.  Peter is the founder and president of Americans for Truth about Homosexuality.

The ‘left’ is basically telling people that you can construct your gender so they have numerous, evolving gender identities.  One is ‘gender-queer’ where your gender can change from day to day or hour to hour.

This is all about redefining reality itself.  To prove the point, here are the stories Jim had Peter comment on:

–In Township High School north of Chicago, the school district is allowing students to use whatever restroom coincides with their gender identity, participate on sports teams of the gender they identify with and they even have private changing facilities available.  However, that’s not good enough for the Department of Education’s Office of Civil Rights because a male student who identifies as a female wants to use the girls locker room and the school is saying ‘no.’

–In Falls Church, Virginia, the Fairfax County Public Schools are instituting policies without parental knowledge or consent and treating gender identity as a protected class.

–The New York Giants football team has released a video featuring six prominent players indicating everyone should be treated equally in sports.  The campaign is called ‘You Can Play.’

–The Navy Secretary has announced a host of policy changes that he believes are necessary for the Sea Services to be able to compete with private industry for the nation’s pool of talented youth.  The Navy plans to go ‘gender blind’ with new uniforms and hats issued to sailors in 2016.

–California has become the first state with a policy of providing sex reassignment surgery for some inmates.

–The Smithsonian’s National Portrait Gallery has launched a new blog entitled, ‘Welcome to the Collection, Sylvia Rivera.’  They’re marking the installation of the museum’s first portrait of a transgender person.

–Last week the World Medical Association released new guidelines for physicians to enable them to increase their knowledge and sensitivity toward transgender people and the unique health issues that they face.

–The Human Rights Campaign along with the National Center for Lesbian Rights have drafted sample legislation for individual states to end conversion therapy.

–Al Sharpton’s National Action Network jumps on the LGBTQ bandwagon.

–Canada’s Girl Guide organization produces guidelines for male to female transgender members that leaves it up to the troubled youths to decide which washrooms they will use and who they will sleep with on group excursions.

–Andrew Cuomo announces executive action intended to protect transgender people from discrimination in housing, employment and other areas.

–The Equality Act (HR3185) has been introduced that prohibits discrimination based upon sex, gender identity and sexual orientation.

–Congressman Paul Ryan of Wisconsin may become the next Speaker of the House.  This is problematic for Peter because Ryan supports homosexual adoption and the Employment Non-Discrimination Act that would federalize homosexual activism masquerading as rights.

–The IRS says it will now recognize same-sex marriages regardless of where they were performed.  The IRS and the Treasury Department also said they will interpret  the terms ‘husband’ and ‘wife’ to apply to same-sex spouses as well as to opposite sex spouses.
