Mat Staver is a constitutional attorney, founder and chairman of Liberty Counsel who has argued two landmark cases before the Supreme Court.

Jim brought Mat back for continued coverage surrounding the allegations of Christine Blasey Ford against Supreme Court nominee, Brett Kavanaugh.

Senate Judiciary Committee hearings began this morning with the committee hearing from the accuser.

Mat has called this, ‘A character assassination of a good man.’ What brings Mat to this conclusion?

First of all, he noted that we have someone who’s brought forth a 36 year old complaint. While he believes every complaint should be given due credit, we can’t go overboard; that power can’t be given to anyone who simply brings an allegation and assume that the person against whom the allegation is alleged is guilty. In America you are innocent until proven guilty but that’s not how Kavanaugh is being treated.

Some other points that Mat discussed:

–The discrepancies as to whether there was 4 boys, 3 boys and a girl, or more people.

–Are there any individuals among those Ford has named that can corroborate her story?

–She said she was afraid of flying and didn’t want to fly to Washington, D.C., from California, yet she’s been known to fly to Delaware each year to visit family as well as flying to exotic places.

–The trip time from her house to where the alleged party took place is about 20 minutes. Mat believes that due to what allegedly took place at the party, Ford would remember who that driver was. However, Ford admitted today that the driver has never contacted her and she doesn’t remember who that person is.

–What does Mat make of the new accusers that have come forth with more allegations?

Mat had much more to share as did Crosstalk callers. You can hear it all when you review this important edition of the program.
