According to Scripture, one day there will be a one-world religion.  Could it be that the world’s two largest religions of our day might converge and become the catalyst for this one-world faith?

While the two faiths discussed on this program appear to be vastly different,  under closer inspection, they have more common bonds than you might think. The religions in question are Islam and Roman Catholicism.

Before you get upset and form a final opinion on this issue, you’ll want to hear what the guest has to say concerning this matter and weigh the evidence.  That guest was Mike Gendron. Mike is the founder and director of Proclaiming the Gospel Ministry. He was a devout Roman Catholic for 34 years and was taught to rely upon the authority of the church above all else.  He faithfully followed the priests, the sacraments and depended on his good works for salvation. Mike began searching the Scriptures and was amazed to find that what he read in Scripture contradicted the teaching and tradition of the church he had been a part of for so long.  He trusted Jesus as his Savior and now the Bible has become his sole authority in all matters of faith.

Drawing from the 1994 Catechism of the Catholic Church, Mike proves that Roman Catholicism believes Catholics and Muslims share a common salvation.  Is Catholicism singling out Islam as a bridge builder to unite with them because they share a similar political ideology? After all, both Catholicism and Islam are not only religions, but also political identities.

In order to make his point clear, Mike did extensive research and came up with 10 common bonds that unite these two religions.  For example, both religions:

…esteem and honor Mary.

…seek messages from apparitions of Mary.

…are anti-Semitic.

…embrace another Jesus.

…seek world dominion.

…deny the authority of Scripture.

…use prayer beads to avoid punishment.

…take pilgrimages to obtain favor from God.

…have human mediators.

…have a works righteousness salvation.

  1. I am tired of this false notion of replacement theology. National Israel as a distinct elect nation came to an end in the new covenant era. When the temple was destroyed it signaled the official end of national Israel. The Ecclesia is the only divine institution approved for the new covenant and was the mystery hidden in ages past and revealed in the last days. The gospel which brings Jews and Gentiles into the body of Christ His Ecclesia. Israel is a wicked nation and is not friendly to the true gospel when preached. In fact VOM lists them as a major persecutor of evangelical Christians including Messianic Jews so called. And there will be no one world religion! If you did not notice the world is hell bent on pure humanism and Marxism and the promotion of the Sodomites and infanticide euphemistically called abortion. Catholicism is not on the rise but is in decline. Radical Islam has no intent to join with Romanism and Popery! This is incredibly false and misguided. The world is United in its hatred of the true Biblical Christ whether from Islam Marxism or false and apostate Christianity. What country in Europe is interested in Christianity let alone Romanism. How naieve and undiscerning can you be. The present Pope and the Catholic church may have an agenda but that is a far cry from successfully creating a one world religion? Based on what is actualling happening in the world this idea is too stupid to entertain. And the Bible does not teach this idea anywhere.

  2. I’m Catholic born raised. Catholic college…Mr Gendron.has had some indoctrination type Catholicism perhaps…..lots of what I would call disinformation all through this program… Islam and Catholic have similar appearing.d doctrines..but some crucial appearing likenesses are vastlv dufferent.. Catholics have in past done terrible inquisitions etc but that is not the true belief…now. there seems a return to “tyrannical” behaviors with the rising of Globalism. /Marxism collective and loss of individual relationship w God …(I was barred from my church due to behaviors protesting that sliding into Communism… I was not accepting what I saw as Marxism).the Marian doctrine proposed by many Protestant and evangelists are not accurate …nor the Rosary interpretation Gendron expresses….. Apparitions yes you have to be careful with those and there are manifestations that have aroused widespread interest that are not recognized . Vatican II introduced and led to some fallacies and laxity that are not Catholic or Christian in the minds of many..I like the Traditional Catholic Movement and Michael Matt…The Remnant.,.videos….we are in upheaval and are losing or in danger of losing a very .spiritual and .enlightened insight in our traditions and insights into the Bible ..both and New Testaments. There have been and are those infiltrating and trying to destroy our Church and perhaps they led Mr Gendron to his interpretations.
