Jimmy Dr. DeYoung is a student of Bible prophecy and expert on the Middle East.  He leads a ministry, Prophecy Today, and has spent many years living in Israel as well as having led many trips there.  He’s a noted conference speaker and constantly monitors news regarding Israel and the Middle East, providing a unique blend of political, biblical and prophetic insight that is absent from the media today.

Jim had Dr. DeYoung comment on several issues related to Israel and those nations in opposition to them.  They included:

The Biden administration has plunged us back into the Iran nuclear deal.  Dr. DeYoung credits this deal to the ‘Obiden’ administration.  Now that the U.S. is back in the deal, could Israel feel at some point that they may need to act alone in dealing with Iran?  Dr. DeYoung described how things are shaping up in the Middle East to help answer that question.

A Palestinian scholar, Mraweh Nassar, the secretary general of the Jerusalem committee of the International Union of Muslim Scholars, has said that the Jews are the most dangerous enemies of the Muslims and indicated that if Muslims want to live in peace and security, they must get rid of the Jews.  Then once the world is cleansed of Jews, there will be prosperity.  Jim asked Dr. DeYoung if he feels this individual sounds like a modern day version of Haman from the book of Esther.

Then there’s the BDS (boycott, divest and sanction) movement that continues to take aim at Israel.  Dr. DeYoung noted that college campuses are the fertilization area where much of this takes place.

This hatred of the Jews is nothing new.  Jim asked listeners to consider these things as Israel remembers and celebrates Purim, one of their holy days, beginning tonight at sunset.
