President Biden is being urged, prodded and pushed to declare a climate emergency. Al Gore in an interview with Chuck Todd on Meet the Press said in regard to climate change that the public sentiment is changing but that “democracy is broken.” He is calling for the filibuster to be eliminated, indicating “we have big money playing much too large a role in our politics.”

Al Gore is not alone as CNSnews.com reports the special presidential envoy for climate, John Kerry, also expressed regret that opposition in Congress has stymied climate legislation. He told the BBC, “We are moving forward but we’re not making enough progress and we’re not moving forward fast enough. So we are behind where we need to be to avoid the worst consequences of the climate crisis.” He points to the summer heatwaves and wildfires.

Others in the Biden Administration are talking about us being in an energy transition. A climate alarmism group is planning to shut down city streets in Washington DC in an effort to put pressure upon Joe Biden to declare a climate emergency. While the Biden Administration has taken certain steps, it has not declared a climate emergency. However the President indicated, “Climate change is literally an existential threat to our nation and to the world.”
