Dr. Don DeYoung is President of the Creation Research Society, and Chairman of the Department of Physical Science at Grace College, Winona Lake, Indiana. He has taught at Grace since 1972, with sabbatical leaves spent in San Diego and the South Pacific. Dr. DeYoung is also on the faculty of the Institute for Creation Research, San Diego. Courses taught include physics, astronomy and mathematics.

Dr. DeYoung’s writings have appeared in The Journal of Chemical Physics and The Creation Research Society Quarterly. He has written eight books on Bible-science topics, including object lessons for children. His latest book is Astronomy and the Bible: Questions and Answers.

We live in a critical time when men like Michael Dowd are appearing in churches attempting to give credibility to the evolutionary position concerning origins among believers. Dr. DeYoung believes it’s critical that we maintain a proper spiritual perspective concerning the issue of origins because the book of Genesis is the foundation and many things in life hinge upon it.

Why are scientists putting so much emphasis on the issue of water on the moon? Can we identify the Star of Bethlehem? Just how great is the “greater light” that rules the day? Has England’s Stephen Hawking been able to prove a self-existing universe? These questions and more are covered on this program.

NOTE: This program first aired November 30, 2010
