Robert Knight is a senior fellow for the American Civil Rights Union and a columnist for the Washington Times. He was a journalist for 15 years, including 7 as an editor and writer at the Los Angeles Times. He has held senior positions with the Heritage Foundation, Family Research Council, Concerned Women for America, Media Research Center and Coral Ridge Ministries.

Jim began by noting how we’re under the roll-out of Obamacare, comprehensive immigration reform, global climate reform, the promotion of the Employment Non-Discrimination Act, same sex marriage, special rights for LGBT individuals, a new agreement with Iran over nuclear issues, the Benghazi coverup, the Fast and Furious coverup, legislation by executive order and the removal of the Senate filibuster.

Robert actually noted some items that Jim forgot such as the NSA spying scandal, ongoing federal spending and the President’s choice to make recess appointments when the Senate is still in session. What concerns Robert most is that of the President issuing executive orders and violating the Constitution. He feels this means we are now in a state of lawlessness where the man in the White House does whatever he wants.

Are these other issues possible attempts to take the attention of the nation off of the failures of Obamacare? Robert feels such distractions have been part of the plan because Obamacare is imploding, millions have lost their coverage and doctors are talking about retiring.

In the end, Robert believes the President saw this coming and that what we’re experiencing is a way into a single payer health care system because if the private insurance market can be destroyed, everyone will have to turn to the government.
