William Gheen is the President and founder of ALIPAC, ‘Americans for Legal Immigration PAC.’ He is a former sergeant at arms and legislative assistant for the North Carolina General Assembly. He is known nationally for his motto, ‘It is going to take Americans of every race, political party, and walk of life working together to address America’s illegal immigration crisis,’ and he discussed the problem of illegal immigration and what to do about it.

Mr. Gheen described what he meant by calling illegal immigration a ‘crisis.’ Some of the problems with illegal immigration that have pushed the issue to a ‘crisis’ state are the loss of lives due to illegal immigrant crimes and drug cartels’ violence spilling over across the border into America, loss of homes by legal Americans to illegal immigrants, and loss of jobs by legal Americans to illegal immigrants who are willing to work for much lower wages.

He also discussed the problems of passing amnesty legislation, passing legislation that provides a ‘special path to citizenship’ or ‘streamline a path to citizenship,’ and the problem with this administration refusing to secure our borders.
