This is Ken Ham, encouraging all churches to start their thinking with God’s Word.

Yesterday we learned that the Bible was carefully hand copied for thousands of years. But does this mean that people changed the text for hundreds of years?

No!

The Bible ultimately comes from God and he has preserved his Word. How do we know? Well, consider that we have nearly six thousand Greek texts of part or all of the New Testament. If you include other languages, we have over twenty thousand manuscripts. And they overwhelmingly agree with each other!

Most variations between these texts are very minor—spelling or grammar. And none of the variations impact any core doctrine.

We do indeed have God’s very Word.
