It’s Memorial Day here in the United States. On this national holiday, we respectfully remember the costly sacrifice that so many have made for our country.
Now, I believe the reason we’re so drawn to respecting sacrifice is because we were made to worship the One who made the ultimate sacrifice.
You see, our ultimate problem is the sin that separates us from God. But God gave his Son, Jesus, to be the perfect sacrifice for our sins so all who trust in Christ can receive eternal life and have their biggest problem solved!
So, as we remember those brave service members today, let us also remember Jesus Christ—and tell others about him.
