Jim highlighted a number of recent news stories that show the direction our society is headed regarding life issues. Among them:

–Obamacare, which includes abortion funding and promotion, will now be considered by the U.S. Supreme Court in the current session/

–Two more former employees of a Philadelphia abortion clinic known as the “House of Horrors” have pleaded “guilty” to murder charges and other crimes.

–A Kansas judge has thrown out 23 felony charges and 26 misdemeanor charges against Planned Parenthood because state authorities destroyed the necessary documentation which had been gathered in a previous investigation

–In Wales, the government is considering allowing hospitals to remove organs from patients—even living patients—without the consent or knowledge of their familes, under the policy of “presumed consent” designed to increase the number of organ donors.

–The Christian Medical Association warns against a potential vote in congress which would increase the likelihood of “presumed consent” in the United States

–Two Michigan abortion clinics have been closed pending an investigation into the discovery of the bodies of babies, and body parts, in clinic dumpsters.

–Moves by states to declare that “personhood” begins at conception is described by abortion advocates as “extreme” and “radical”.

–Obama defends taxpayer funding of the Planned Parenthood abortion business.

–NARAL says Obama will win re-election in 2012 if he will only support abortion more.

–A Florida abortion clinic advertises a discount coupon for abortions performed on Sundays.

Listeners then commented on these stories, and told how pro-life issues will influence their votes in the future.
