Michael tells the story of Scott and Jodi Ferris from Pennsylvania. Jodi was pregnant and went into labor early and therefore was not able to have her baby delivered by her midwife. Instead she went by ambulance to the hospital and ended up giving birth in the hospital parking lot.
It’s at this point that things took an ominous turn. Once born, one doctor said the baby was fine yet another doctor who was critical of the couple’s desire to have the birth via midwife said the baby was very ill. Eventually a social worker became involved in the situation, consented to a vaccine for the child, seized the child, and Jodi was kicked out of the hospital.
Find out how this case is proceeding, why a legal firm that defends home schoolers has become involved, and what you can do if you find yourself in a similar situation.
