Jim began this edition of Crosstalk with news that Yousef Nadarkhani, an Iranian pastor, was acquitted of all charges in his legal case. He was originally set to die by hanging for embracing Christianity and he is now a free man.
The main topic discussed on this Crosstalk dealt with America’s education system and how over the decades it’s become a petri dish of experimentation for leftist social engineers. Discussing this trend was Beverly Eakman. She has a number of years of experience as an educator. She was the chief speech writer for Chief Justice Warren Burger on the commission on the bicentennial of the U.S. She’s a researcher, public speaker, and an author of various books including, “Walking Targets: How Our Psychologized Classrooms are Producing a Nation of Sitting Ducks”, “Cloning of the American Mind: Eradicating Morality through Education”, “Educating for the New World Order”, “Microchipped: How the Educational Establishment Took Us Beyond Big Brother”, “How to Counter Group Manipulation Tactics” and her latest, “Agenda Games”.
Beverly noted that when we talk about manipulation of our children in schools, you have to go back to a socialist cadre of behavioral scientists in 1947. She cited the National Education Association as well as the Carnegie Corporation and the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching as having created U.N.E.S.C.O. U.N.E.S.C.O. has infiltrated every free world nation’s education system and their leftward teachings are at the core of a manipulative type of curriculum
How did they manage to get their philosophies into he hearts and minds of young people? It’s through the media as well as textbooks. She describes how unfortunately conservatives threw their money into campaigns rather than buying up and sitting on the boards of media companies. The result is the “left” now controls the media.
Beverly exposes the leftist group manipulation techniques used on children and adults, some of which come from Nazi Germany and the old Soviet Union. As they relate to the chapter headings of her latest book, “Agenda Games”, she shows how these techniques affect issues facing America today such as “The Family Values Game”, “The Education Game” “The ‘Green’ Game”, “The Foreign Policy Game”, “The National Security Game” and more.
