Mat Staver is a constitutional attorney, founder and chairman of Liberty Counsel. Mat has argued before all levels of court including landmark cases before the U.S. Supreme Court.  He’s an author as well as speaker on the radio programs, ‘Faith and Freedom’ and ‘Freedom’s Call.’

The COVID-19/worship controversy continues to heat up with the State of California as a ‘hot-spot.’  Mat brought listeners details regarding the following related cases:

–A Baptist church in Santa Clara, California, was warned that they’ll be fined $5,000 every time they meet for worship.

–Last Friday, Pastor Rob McCoy of Godspeak Calvary Chapel in Thousand Oaks, California, was held in contempt of court for continuing to have his church meet and he’s being fined $500 for every occurrence.

–Liberty Counsel sent a letter to the Pasadena Prosecutor’s Office concerning Harvest Rock Church.  Any coronavirus violations in the future will subject the pastor, church board members, administrators, operators, staff and parishioners to penalties.  In other words, even those who dare show up for church can be subject to daily, criminal penalties.

From John MacArthur’s church, to a COVID-19 vaccine and its possible ramifications, spreading the coronavirus via singing vs. talking, to the latest on Sandra Merritt,…all that and more was covered on this edition of Crosstalk.
