Here’s your weekly selection of news highlights from the Crosstalk news desk:

–Senate Republicans, with the help of Democrat Senator Joe Manchin of West Virginia, voted to defeat a Democrat bill that would overturn every pro-life law in America and legalize abortions up to birth.  Audio from Senator Manchin was provided.

–President Joe Biden slammed the brutality of the Supreme Court draft ruling overturning Roe v. Wade but ignored the brutality of how babies are dismembered in abortion.

–Jim presented disturbing audio from about 7 years ago from Obstetrician/Gynecologist Dr. Anthony Levatino.  Levatino, who performed over 1,200 abortions, testified before a House Judiciary Committee on Planned Parenthood’s medical procedures.  He described in detail the abortion of a 22 week old baby. 

–Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito has been taken to a secure location to protect him and his family in the wake of extreme pro-abortion violence over the weekend.

–White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said Tuesday that President Joe Biden is perfectly fine with radical abortion advocates breaking federal law after protests outside the homes of Supreme Court justices.

–A group claiming to be responsible for the arson and graffiti at the office of Wisconsin Family Action issued a warning Tuesday saying similar attacks could be coming across the nation.

–Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot added fuel to the fire of emotion raging over the Supreme Court by issuing a call to arms to avert an attack on the LGBTQ population. 

–A majority of Americans support abortion policies that would not be possible under Roe v. Wade.

–Someone spray-painted vulgar phrases and satanic symbols all over St. Joseph’s Church and Academy near Detroit.

–The offices of Oregon Right to Life were attacked late Sunday evening with incendiary devices resulting in a small fire.  

–The Satanic Temple said that its followers should be granted religious exemptions to perform religious abortion rituals in states that have placed hurdles to the controversial medical procedure.

–Empower Wisconsin says that Capitol Police in Madison, Wisconsin, are expecting tens of thousands of protesters on the Capitol Square this weekend at multiple  rallies against the potential demise of Roe v. Wade.

–Among the jurisdictions that reported their abortion numbers to the Centers for Disease Control for it’s latest annual abortion surveillance report, Washington, DC, lead with the highest number of abortions: 501 babies killed for every 1,000 live births.

–Pro-life Texans celebrated Sunday as they marked the 250th day since the historic Texas Heartbeat Bill. 
–Elon Musk kicked off a frantic Friday the 13th for the tech and business worlds by announcing that his deal to acquire Twitter was being held up.
