Fast Facts: Ants – Part IV

Welcome to Fast Facts with Reasons for Hope! I’m Carl Kerby.

So, how many ants are there in the world?

First, how many people are on planet earth? Approximately 7.5 billion!

Second, for every human on earth, there are approximately one million ants.

Let’s do the math… Wait! I don’t have enough fingers and toes to figure that out.

To make it easier, think of it like this: it’s been estimated that, if you were to calculate the total weight of all the ants on earth and compare that to the total weight of all the humans on earth, the weight would be the same or slightly higher for the ants.

The fact is, that’s a LOT of ants and God knows about each and every one of them… He also KNOWS, CARES, and LOVES you and me even more.

By the way, do you know the size of the largest ant colony? You will after hearing the next Fast Facts with Reasons for Hope. Until then, stay bold!
