Time is Life

Here’s a great money saving idea! Old telephone books make ideal personal address books. Simply cross out the names and addresses of the people you don’t know.

Well, not every money saving idea is a good idea. Saving money has to be balanced with saving time. Both of these are important resources which God has entrusted to us to invest for His kingdom work. They are both resources we will some day be held accountable for. And most of us we don’t have enough of either one.

If something saves you time, but costs too much money, like going to work by helicopter, we quickly reject it. But those of us who are frugal by nature or just want to be good stewards of God’s money, often ignore the value of time. But as Ben Franklin said, “Time is money”.

But to the Christian, time is even more valuable. Time is life. That’s why its so important that we redeem the time.
