Hi, I’m John Sorensen, President of Evangelism Explosion International, and you’re listening to Share Life Today.

What is spiritual multiplication, and why is it important? In second Timothy two two, Paul writes, “And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses, entrust these to faithful people who will be able to train others…” When we share the Gospel and disciple others, we start this important multiplication process. Our spiritual journey isn’t finished when we come to know Christ as our Savior. In fact, it’s only the beginning! And it is our responsibility and privilege to tell others the Gospel and help them spiritually grow in their walk. And as more and more believers come to faith in Christ and then grow in their relationship with Him, they too will take up the call of sharing with and discipling others. The old saying goes, “Give a man a fish, and he will eat for a day. Teach a man to fish, and he will eat for a lifetime.” It is better to train a soul-winner than to merely win a soul! It changes everything. Learn more about at www.sharelife.today.
