As we continue our Scripture memory challenge this week, I want to explore another reason why it’s important to hide God’s Word in our heart: knowing Scripture helps you help others. We live in a world full of opinions and voices. And the truth is, our opinions can’t change any one. Praise God we have the Holy Spirit living in our hearts, and HE can change lives. And God’s Word also stirs the hearts of people, as the Bible tells us in Hebrews, “For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.” So today, let’s memorize together Ephesians 5:1-2, “Therefore be imitators of God as dear children.
