What would you say has been the most formative thing that you were told as a child? Did a parent instruct you “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you…”? Did a grandparent say, “If you don’t work, you don’t eat?” Whatever it might be, as a child of God—it works just the same. The Words our Creator God gave us in the Bible changes us and helps us live a righteous life in obedience to Him. And through our obedience to grow in Him, we experience the fruits of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. And as we let God’s Word instruct us on how to live, we’re transformed to be more and more like Jesus. So join us today as we memorize 2 Corinthians 5:20, “We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us.
