Picture yourself in heaven with the glory of God before you. Every person is there for the judgement. You look across the crowd and see one of your closest friends there. You know they haven’t made a personal decision to follow Christ. Now I don’t know about you, but for me there is literally nothing that anyone could say to me that would be harder to hear than these words, “Why didn’t you tell me? I thought we were friends…”
So, now we try. That doesn’t mean it’s easy! Sometimes it’s a real struggle to find a way to share with our neighbors. But our question if the week is this: What can we do to share Jesus with our neighbors? And the answer is ultimately a simple one: Be intentional. Share the Gospel with them. But just because it’s simple, doesn’t mean that it’s not hard. However, it is the fulfillment of what Christ told us when He said that we should love our neighbor as ourselves.
